Hello Everyone! This is 豆子.Today, I drafted two conversations about lunch meetings. Lunch meetings are very popular in the foreign companies. Collegues are sittting together to have lunch and talking about some projects what they are doing right now.
Conversation 1：
A: Hello, this is John speaking.
我是约翰
B: Hi, John. This is Linda. We will have a lunch meeting tomorrow at 12:pm in the conference room. I just sent the menu to your mailbox, please check it and let me know your choice as soon as possible. Thanks.
你好，我是琳达。咱们明天中午十二点要在会议室里有个午餐会。我刚刚把菜单发到了你的邮箱里。你看了之后尽快告诉我你要吃什么，谢谢。
A: All right! Thanks for letting me know, Linda, I am out for a meeting with clients. I will reply to you as soon as possible.
好的，谢谢你告诉我。我现在在外面与客户有个会。我会尽快回复你。
B: Ok, Thanks.

Conversation 2：
C: Hey John, this is Andy, shall we have a lunch tomorrow together?

A: Sorry, Andy! I will have a lunch meeting with my colleagues tomorrow. Let me check my schedule and I will let you know what time is convenient for me.
不行，安迪。我明天要和同事有个午餐会。让我看看我的日程表，然后告诉你我什么时候有时间。
C: Sure. How often do you have lunch meetings?
当然。你们多久开一次午餐会?
A: It depends on my boss’s decision,we do not have regular lunch meetings. I guess he just want to meet all of usafter his long business trip in the U.S.

C: Ok, I understand. So you basically work from nine to six, with an hour lunch break from 12pm to 1pm, right?

A: Yes! So, our lunch meeting is not long.

C: Ok, I will have a business trip on next Wednesday. It would be better to have a lunch with you before my business trip.

A: Got it. Talk to you later!
